Choosing the right fit for your work

• Firing requirements: Match the listed temperature rating and intended application to your material and firing schedule. Maximum temperature alone does not make a kiln suitable for every ceramic, glass or metal process.
• Usable space: Check the chamber dimensions against your largest piece and allow room for any shelves, supports and clearances required by the manufacturer.
• Your studio setup: Review the electrical or fuel requirements, ventilation, working clearances and delivery access before ordering.

Configuration and accessories

Review the choices above for this model. Controllers, furniture kits, stands, vents and other accessories are included only where stated for the selected configuration. Optional upgrades can change both the total price and production time.

The MAS1823HE is part of the Olympic Kilns Quick Ship program.

Quick Ship kilns ship within 10–15 business days of your order when ordered in the standard configuration. Most other Olympic kilns are built to order, with a lead time of around 12–15 weeks. Olympic builds only five models for fast shipping because they are among its most popular kilns.

Standard Quick Ship configuration

• Standard voltage (120V or 240V, as applicable to the model)
• Single-phase power, where applicable
• KilnStar controller
• Mechanical relays

Kiln furniture kits and the Orton VentMaster (when available) can be added without affecting the lead time and ship with the kiln.

What takes a kiln out of Quick Ship

Any change to the kiln itself removes it from the Quick Ship program and puts it on Olympic's standard production timeline of approximately 12–15 weeks. This includes 208V configurations, 3-phase power, the Genesis controller, solid-state relays and any other optional upgrade. Casters can be added to the stand and usually extend the lead time by only one to two business days.

Other Quick Ship kilns

• MAS2327HE Electric Kiln
• Champ XL Glass Kiln
• 1214-120HE Electric Kiln
• Doll E / Test E Electric Kiln

Availability and dispatch

An order confirmation records receipt of your order. It does not confirm immediate stock or dispatch. Production or preparation time is separate from carrier transit, and estimated dates can change.

Carrier transit is estimated at an additional 3–7 business days after dispatch. Business days are Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays. See our Shipping Policy for general brand handling ranges and model-specific exceptions. If we cannot ship within the stated timeframe, we will contact you with a revised estimate and explain your delay-consent or cancellation options, including a prompt full refund for an unshipped order where required.

Shipping charges

The shipping amount displayed at checkout is the amount you pay for the delivery service selected. We honour that amount and do not add a further freight charge after you place the order. Tell us about any special delivery requirements before ordering so the appropriate service can be arranged.

Standard checkout shipping covers the contiguous United States and Washington, DC. Contact us before ordering for Alaska, Hawaii, US territories or international delivery. See the Shipping Policy for the current rate bands and exclusions.

Receiving your order

Kilns and large equipment generally ship by freight. Standard kiln freight includes curbside delivery to residential or commercial addresses and liftgate service when needed, within the shipping price shown at checkout. There is no additional residential-delivery or liftgate charge after ordering. Tell us whether you have a loading dock or forklift and about any restricted access. Inside placement, installation, stairs, cranes and white-glove services are not included unless agreed in writing.

Inspect your delivery on arrival, note visible damage with the carrier and take photographs of the packaging and affected items. Report delivery damage promptly, ideally within 24 hours, and retain the packaging while we investigate. This is not an automatic cutoff for your rights; report concealed damage as soon as you discover it.

If your order does not arrive

Report an overdue or missing delivery using our contact form or email. We investigate with the supplier and carrier. If the order is confirmed lost or we cannot complete delivery, we arrange a replacement at no extra cost or a refund for the undelivered goods and their delivery charge, with no restocking fee. See our Return & Refund Policy for the full process and refund timing.

Cancellations and eligible returns

• Before dispatch: Contact us promptly to request cancellation. Standard orders can be cancelled before shipment without a cancellation charge; custom and made-to-order exclusions apply.
• Custom or made-to-order items: Products identified before purchase as custom, made-to-order or non-returnable are excluded from change-of-mind returns. Custom and made-to-order orders cannot be cancelled for a change of mind once production begins. Delayed-order cancellation rights still apply as described in our policy.
• Eligible returns: Request a return within 30 days of delivery. Items must be unopened and unused, with their original packaging and included components. Eligible change-of-mind returns incur a 25% restocking fee and customer-paid return shipping; the original delivery charge is not refunded. Any product-specific exclusions must be disclosed before purchase.

Email us or use our contact form with your order number before sending anything back so the correct return arrangements can be confirmed. Read the Return & Refund Policy for eligibility, exclusions and the full terms.

Refund processing: Once an eligible return has been approved and received, we issue the refund within 20 working days to the original payment method. For confirmed delivery damage, an item supplied incorrectly, or a defect present on arrival, we cover the necessary return shipping and charge no restocking fee. Contact us for written return instructions before sending anything back. Later problems follow the applicable manufacturer warranty and its transport terms, without limiting your consumer-protection rights.
