Before you order
A few useful answers.
Need something specific for your purchasing team? Include it in your request.
Can you provide a W-9?
Yes. Select “W-9 only” or “Formal quote and W-9” in the form. We’ll provide the document for your vendor setup.
Do you accept purchase orders?
Yes, from schools, universities, studios and businesses. Request a quote first so the equipment and pricing can be confirmed, then send your PO to sales@potterykilndirect.com. We’ll confirm the order arrangements with you.
How do tax-exempt orders work?
Tell us you are purchasing for a tax-exempt organisation. Send your exemption certificate for review before ordering; we’ll confirm whether it can be applied to your order.
Can I request Quick Ship equipment?
Yes. Mention Quick Ship and your required delivery date. We’ll confirm current availability for the model and configuration you need, together with an estimated dispatch and delivery timeframe.
What should we check before choosing a kiln?
Confirm the materials and firing temperature, the chamber size you need, access to the installation space and ventilation requirements. Have a qualified electrician check voltage, phase, circuit capacity and the manufacturer’s connection requirements. We can help you gather the model information.
How long is a quote valid, and what about freight?
Tell us your approval timeline and delivery location. We’ll confirm the quote’s validity and shipping details for your order. If you order online, the shipping amount charged at checkout is the amount we honour; there is no additional freight payment afterwards.
